Question date: 09/22/2009What is the purpose of the human manifestation?
In truth, there is no purpose in it. It is simply a part of an unfolding universe, an evolutionary event that has neither purpose nor meaning, but is relevant to the unfolding process. The reason humans ask this question and questions like this is because of their belief in good or bad and right or wrong. These beliefs have led to this concept of suffering and pain, in turn leading to the questions of how to overcome that suffering and pain. Over the many years of man's consciousness, complex ideas have evolved about how man came to be and how the universe came to be, all trying to explain consciousness and the contrast between feeling good and feeling bad. The simple explanation for all this is that man's consciousness is simply an evolving vibration, an expression of an infinitely expanding and unfolding universe. Man has no purpose other than to be exactly what they are in any given moment. Man believes and experiences, in one way, that somehow he is able to control or change the world in some way. This is simply not true. His consciousness interprets vibrational happenings and then his imagination gives them meaning. The fact is, whether or not he gives them meaning or not makes no difference to anything. The universe will continue to expand infinitely no matter what man thinks or does. The only consequence of man's behavior is how he feels about his experience. He can enjoy it or he can fight it. But it makes no difference to anything. Michael's question implied that somehow a choice was made to manifest as human. This is not an accurate understanding. The physical realm is an expression of the universal Source but you cannot divide this universal Source into individual vibrations expressing as humans. The human physical manifestation is simply a vibrational result of the universe expanding. There is no choice being made by an entity to manifest as human. Human consciousness is a unique and new development in physical realm. The idea of self-awareness is new and adds a new dimension but it does not imply individual entities as it seems to. And so, again, there is no purpose; there is only whether you enjoy the experience or not. Certainly humans are unique in both their self-awareness and their ability to experience mutual sexual pleasure independent of the procreation process.

Question date: 12/08/2011 Am I on the right path? I love to fully immerse myself in my spiritual life. As a way of expressing it to others, I am absorbed in writing and publicly reading poems about that life. There is very little I care about doing except to meditate or be quiet with myself, write poems and sometimes letters, and talk at length with friends about these things. But there are also many types of work and entertainment which I used to do, but am not interested in any longer. These are mostly engaging with family on various projects that range from maintaining property to watching movies to caring for my somewhat disabled brother. Maybe I was only pretending to be interested in such matters, or perhaps the scope of my attention has narrowed a great deal. At any rate, I feel guilty that I have lost interest in activities that are still a focus for people I love and who love me. I want to move forward to a life of meditation and poetry and talk, but feel I need to better express my directio n to my loved ones, so that they might better understand and help me achieve my wishes and needs, while I can still help them achieve theirs. Am I on the right path?
